Students Bought This Old Couch From A Market And Took It To Their Dorm Room

A group of friends bought a Salvation Army couch in February. They felt something odd in the cushions after watching a movie and found $41,000 in bubble wrap envelopes. They considered wasting the windfall fortune, but morality triumphed.

Finding a woman’s name on an envelope eliminated their entitlement, therefore they returned the money. They found the woman and returned her 30-year-old savings in the couch with their parents’ aid. The woman received the money from her deceased husband to support her.

The young people believed they had done the right thing, and the woman gave them $1,000 for their honesty.

This story emphasizes the significance of morality and doing the right thing, even when lucky.
